Star Air Cargo Pty Ltd (SAC) is a South African registered company that has a Part 121 Domestic and International Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC). The company specializes in the leasing and operating of Boeing 737 – 200 and Boeing 737-500 aircraft on short to medium term leases to scheduled airlines in the sub Saharan African Region.
Star Air Maintenance Pty Ltd (SAM) is a subsidiary company of Star Air Cargo Pty Ltd, that provides all the AOC’s maintenance requirements up to B check. SAM is based and operates from a Hangar in the Denel Aviation Campus facility, at O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. SAM also has capacity to offer line maintenance to third parties.
